Cast of A Chorus Line prepare to preview in Adelaide tonight

The talented cast of singer-dancer-actors in A Chorus Line have been rehearsing non-stop to prepare their bodies and minds for one of the most physically taxing shows ever to hit the stage.

We take some time out to chat with Stephanie Grigg and Ashley Mckenzie ahead of their first preview performance tonight (31 December) in Adelaide.

Directed by Baayork Lee, this show is set to take the Adelaide Festival Centre by storm in a 2 hour, non-stop physical representation of what performers do ‘for love’ of their craft.

Officially opening on January 3A Chorus Line will play until 28 January 2012 in Adelaide before transferring to Melbourne’s Her Majesty’s Theatre on February 4, 2012.

Producer Tim Lawson told AussieTheatre.com in a recent interview that other seasons of this production are currently being considered.

“We certainly have invitations to take the show to other cities in Australia and Asia, which I’m considering, whilst monitoring the current climate at home” Lawson said.

It is understood that Sydney is a possibility, but nothing has been confirmed at this stage.
