Movie musicals are back in fashion!

In recent years we have seen many musicals take the leap from stage to screen in a movie musical renaissance. Les Miserables, Jersey Boys, Mama Mia and the highly anticipated release of Into the Woods (coming in Jan 2015) just to name a few.

Now it is Jason Robert Brown’s hit The Last 5 Years turn. The highly successful two hander had its world premiere at this year’s Toronto International Film Festival and with its cinematic release just around the corner the official trailer has finally been released.

The film stars Anna Kendrick (Pitch Perfect, Into the Woods) and Jeremy Jordan (Smash, Newsies).
