Published in the British newspaper The Guardian, it was reported today that David Cecil, a British theatre producer, was arrested in Uganda for staging a play about homosexuality despite  ‘intervention from regulators’. His case was dismissed by a Ugandan magistrate yesterday as the prosecution could not produce any evidence against Cecil.
