Have you ever wondered what it would be like to appear in the Eurovision Song Contest?

Well now is your opportunity to have a taste of the exciting rush of representing your country in what can only be described as the world’s largest talent quest. (On a slightly smaller scale – this is Bosnia after all).

This tongue-in-cheek celebration of everything that we love about the Eurovision Song contest has been reviewed as one of the most exuberant and joyous musicals to have appeared on stage in recent years.

“Eurobeat” is an affectionate homage to Eurovision – performed with as much love and passion as possible! It resembles a cross between a concert and a sporting event with the audience completely immersed in good-natured patriotic fervour combined with an abundance of laughter and good music thrown in for good measure.

The idea is that Bosnia Herzegovina won the competition last year and our show is set in Sarajevo who is playing host to this year’s competition. The Bosnians are giving it their best shot, it’s just that sometimes, unfortunately, things don’t quite go according to plan.

Essentially, the contesting countries perform their song one after another with introductions and comments from the two hosts. The Audience is encouraged to cheer for their country and to vote for their favourite performers. The votes are counted during the course of the evening and the winners are announced and give a reprise performance.
