AussieTheatre has two double passes to giveaway to see a true icon of Australian show business – Geraldine Turner – in her one woman show Turner’s Turn at the Brisbane Powerhouse as part of the Queensland Cabaret Festival on June 12.
Her roles in the stage musicals Anything Goes, Chicago, Oliver, Into The Woods, Company, Cabaret, A Little Night Music, Call Me Madam and Sweeney Todd established her as an award-winning musical theatre star, but there is more to Turner than music theatre! Geraldine has also won enormous acclaim for her roles in plays such as Steel Magnolias, Summer of the Seventeenth Doll and Don’s Party; on television in House Husbands, Home and Away, All Saints and the films Careful He Might Hear You, Summerfield and The Wog Boy. Her extensive recording output includes the first solo Sondheim album, which gained her worldwide acclaim.
Appearing at the Queensland Cabaret Festival for one night only, Turner’s Turn is a celebration of Geraldine’s incredible life on stage and marks Geraldine’s first cabaret appearance in Brisbane in more than ten years.
A rare opportunity to see one of Australia’s most beloved stage performers, up close and personal, in an intimate setting.
Competition closes 10 June at 6pm AEST. Winners will be contacted via email/phone.
