Jason and the Golden Fleece is a stage musical with original book, music & lyrics by British husband-and-wife team Amy Lyddon and Nick Morrell. In the forthcoming single, Manford sings the role of the princess Medea, a strong-willed sorceress who dreams of escaping from her confinement within the palace walls and finding love.

“When theatres became closed for the foreseeable future, we threw all of our energy into recording instead”, says Lyddon, the composer and lyricist.

“We’re thrilled to be releasing this track at a time when freedom -the main theme of this song -has such fresh importance. Amy is an incredible artist and we’re delighted to be collaborating with her”.

“For Evermore” will be available worldwide across all platforms from Friday 11th June.
