A Chorus Line opens in Singapore

A Chorus LineThe Australian cast of A Chorus Line are preparing for their opening night this evening at Marina Bay Sands in Singapore.

The Australian revival of this Tony Award winning musical received critical acclaim in both Adelaide and Melbourne earlier this year, with Melbourne’s season recouping costs with $3 million in advance sales before the opening weekend.

Directed by Baayork Lee (original 1975 cast member) and produced by Tim Lawson of TML Enterprises, A Chorus Line is playing at Marina Bay Sands for a limited season before commencing performances at the Capitol Theatre, Sydney on July 20.

No further tour announcements for other capital cities have been made at this stage.
