Aussie musical LOVEBiTES returns!

LOVEBiTES, created by the minds behind hit Australian musical The Hatpin (James Millar and Peter Rutherford) has found a new home on Australian stages at Sydney’s Hayes Theatre.

From Wednesday 10 September to Sunday 5 October you can catch this song cycle on stage at Australia’s new home for musicals and cabaret, and you really should.  It’s all about falling in love, a series of short stories that looks at the moment that love strikes, and then the story of how it ended. One half of each couple sings one of these songs each, creating a unique insight into the trajectory of the relationship and the way it can be seen so differently by the two people who are in it.

LOVEBITES first hit the stage in Sydney in 2009, and played Perth the following year. This 2014 production will be staged by new players on the scene, Wooden Horse Productions, headed up by director Troy Alexander.

“I am thrilled to present the LOVEBiTES as Wooden Horse Productions’ debut show in a whole new way, giving Sydney the chance to be first to hear a brand new orchestration from composer Peter Rutherford,” Alexander said.

Cast will be announced soon, and mark this one in your diaries as a must-see event. For bookings and more information, visit www.hayestheatre.com.au.
