AussieTheatre.com launches brand new What’s On Calendar and Jobs Board

Whilst the world was in lockdown and the arts industry was suffering the terrible impact caused by the COVID-19 outbreak, the team at AussieTheatre were hard at work establishing ways to support our amazing arts industry when it emerges on the other side.

After the news landed that productions would need to close their doors with immediate effect and an avalanche of cancellation notices ensued, the reality of the situation set in.

AussieTheatre.com is well established as Australia’s go-to resource for the entertainment industry. Connecting with our audience online, on social media and through our weekly newsletter mail outs, AussieTheatre provides the latest news and feature stories to keep the community up to date with what’s going on. In addition to our unique content creation, AussieTheatre is also perfectly positioned to support productions through marketing and publicity activities.

As the devastating situation continued to unfold, we identified that show creators would need more support than ever before. Dropping everything, AussieTheatre’s team of developers got to work, with the guidance of two simple goals;

  1. Help show creators reach more potential audience members and maximise income once performances resume.
  2. Help arts organisations as they re-build their workforce and mobilise projects.

As a result, AussieTheatre.com is excited to announce the arrival of two brand new features that fuel our mission to support our community like never before.

As the live entertainment industry enters the critical recovery phase, for a limited time, these features will be absolutely FREE. AussieTheatre.com is waiving all fees associated with the use of both our What’s On Calendar and Job Listings directory using coupon code BackOnStage. We want to help you find the right people to get your project moving and when it’s ready, pack your venue to the rafters.
