It's Only LifeAussieTheatre.com can now officially and exclusively announce the dates and venue for the return season of It’s Only Life – A Musical Revue By John Bucchino.
The musical review will play for two nights (October 23 & 24) at one of Melbourne’s hottest cabaret venues; The Order Of Melbourne. Originally produced by Stella Entertainment and DTM it was performed in March, 2011  at Chapel Off Chapel. It’s Only Life is focused around the theme of “life” and everything that goes with it including love, loss, joy, anger, anxiety, gratitude and contentment. The original production was received very well by the arts community and general public alike:

…a nice mixture of compositional styles, has a surprisingly strong arc without feeling contrived, which can probably be attributed to Daisy Prince who patched the show together with John using his extensive library of songs. The song’s subjects were often, but not always, regarding matters of the heart – love, loss and identity. Surely no one was without a smile during the upbeat “That Smile” which included the could-have-been-but-wasn’t-akward vocal percussion from the cast. This is a testament to the cast’s empathy for the material.

The return season produced by Zack Anthony Productions in conjunction with Stella Entertainment, will tour to New York with an all Australian cast in November. This project is only the second for new production company Zack Anthony Productions who’s first project Shaken Not Stirred raised over $2,000 for the Red Cross Christchurch Earth Quake Appeal.
John Bucchino, composer and lyricist of It’s Only Life invited the Australian cast to New York to perform a concert version of his musical revue at the famous cabaret venue, Birdland, earlier this year after working on his piece with the group of actors at Chapel Off Chapel.
As the New York tour is funded entirely by the actors, all profits from the Melbourne concerts will go directly towards funding the tour. The cast touring to New York in November include Christian Cavallo, Zack Anthony Curran, Madeleine Featherby, Laura Fitzpatrick, Sam Rabbone and Cameron Thomas. Bookings:Tickets to It’s Only Life at The Order Of Melbourne are just $25 and $30 and include a free drink from the bar on arrival!  For tickets and information visit: www.za-productions.com
