Your Sunday Afternoon Zen: Jaz Flowers sings “Big White Room”

Jaz Flowers has a voice. She’s starred in the Australian tours of Hairspray and Hot Shoe Shuffle, and if you’ve been craving hearing the way she sculpts gossamer lines into powerful vocal structure, then you’re in luck: she’s on stage in Sydney again. She’s starring in Heathers the Musical.

But, perfect for a Sunday afternoon where you want to go deep into a song, but not too deep – where you want to be carried away – we have something a little different from standard musical theatre fare.

Jaz Flowers has popped up on The Voice before, and in a stunning audition that saw three of four chairs turn around, she sang, with mastery, Jessie J’s “Big White Room.” Do you remember it? Did you miss it? Either way, you’re going to be glad to have it.

Happy Sunday!
