Due to demand, the multiple Tony and Olivier Award winning play War Horse will extend its debut Australian season in Melbourne for three weeks – and it hasn’t even opened yet!

Performances from February 12 until March 3 2013 will will be on sale from tomorrow 9am (Tuesday 27 November) and are expected to sell very quickly.

Cast and crew from this Tony and Olivier Award winning play are currently rehearsing on stage at the Regent Theatre, Melbourne in preparation for preview performances which commence on December 23 ahead of a New Year’s Eve opening night at Arts Centre Melbourne.

War Horse features astonishing puppets, strong enough for men to ride, created by South Africa’s Handspring Puppet Company and the 33 Australian cast members including actors and puppeteers will create theatrical magic on stage as they bring Nick Stafford’s stage adaptation of Michael Morpurgo’s book to life.
