Melbourne Fringe: Unmasking Prince Charming

Seth Drury knows how it goes. Or at least he thinks he does. See, it doesn’t quite go as he’d been told.

is Seth’s art therapy project, after taking romantic cues from Disney Princes – from Cinderella’s nameless prince to Anna’s Prince Kristoff – has landed him in group therapy.

Drury could stand to be a little less knowing, and let the audience arrive at his conclusion before he does. Beyond that, though, he has a lovely presence on stage and uses the small space exceptionally well. The selection of material, from Disney and Disney-adjacent shows, is also uniformly strong, as are his vocals.
