Sir David Attenborough cancels Australian tour

Sir David Attenborough has been forced to cancel his Australian tour of Sir David Attenborough – A Life on Earth.

Sir David has been told by his cardiologist that he is in urgent need of a pacemaker and is due to undergo surgery today.

The sold-out tour, due to begin in Brisbane next week, was to follow Sir David’s hugely successful Australian dates in 2012.

Sir David says he was very much looking forward to visiting Australia and is deeply disappointed. He hopes to reschedule the tour in the near future when he recovers.

Sir David Attenborough is perhaps the world’s best known nature documentarian, with a career spanning six decades.
